Foxy Brown Says Diss Track Should Not Have Been Released Posted: Monday - February 8, 2010 | Comments (0)
Foxy Brown's verse on Let Em Know, which takes aim at her female counterparts and confirmed a past relationship with Jay-Z, ignited the internet and had fans thinking the femcee was on her way back. But according to Foxy, the song was never supposed to see the light of day.
Brown took the topic to Twitter last Thursday (February 4) and wrote, "So now I've gotta address an old a** song 'mysteriously leaked' to controversial headlines and rumors in the streets...EZ Mo Bee was told to specifically delete this song...So the track should've never been released. Can't front n*ggas luv it though."
As previously reported, on the track Foxy Brown sets the record straight regarding her past relationships with Rick Ross and AZ, and disses Lil Kim for her reality show stint on Dancing With The Stars. Holding back little she also claims the top female rap artist spot and steps on Eve and Trina in the process.
Let Em Know will be featured on a compilation album, producer Easy Mo Bee is currently working on. The project, which is titled Right On, will be released later this year via Black Box Records.
