Kanye West Denies Airplane Incident
Posted: Monday - February 8, 2010 | Comments (0)

Kanye West No one was surprised when reports of Kanye West having a tantrum on an airplane reached the internet, but according to the rapper it is all lies.

Giving his own account of the events, Kanye tells a very different story from what was initially reported. While he does admit to being seated in business class, West denies having a problem with it, and even said he was "actually quite happy."

"I feel bad that people believe this kind of stuff or any random rumor that is taken as fact because 'it's on the internet,'" wrote West on his official blog. "This rumor is particularly ironic because I was actually happy with a business class seat and was offered a seat in first class. A friend of mine was sitting in coach, so I asked if they could bump him up to business instead of putting me in first. There was absolutely no altercation in any way."

Ending out the post, the Midwest rapper claims that he doesn't care where he sits on the plane, and thanks his loyal fans for supporting him despite what they hear.

"There's been many a time where I've given someone in coach my business or first class seat in order to sit next to a friend I bumped into. I really could care less about where I sit on the plane. It's hard to deal with the rumors sometimes. As a good person with a warm heart, it does bother me...Thank you to all my fans who still love and support me even though it's not the trend right now!"

Torch - The New New York

Torch When Bronx, New York born rapper Torch looked up one day and found himself amongst the palm trees of Miami, instead of the cold cement of New York, he effectively made the best of it. Combining the grit and grind of New York that he was raised on and the laid back swagger of Miami he adjusted to, his lyrical outlook has made him a rapper to watch as well as appreciate.
