Police report that the incident nearly turned deadly. According to the Post-Tribune, Waka Flocka's hype man might have been the cause of the violent outbreak. The unidentified man came to the stage and repped the Eastside versus the Westside. That's when officials stated the fighting commenced, and attendees were told to leave.
Outside of the Atlanta night club, shots were fired, leaving Shaquille Hughes, 15, shot in the right side; Marcus Ratliff, 14, shot in the right wrist; Justin Bodley, 16, shot in the leg; Junan Washington, 18, shot in left ankle; DaVonte Biddings, 16, shot once in the back; Marquel Croock, 16, shot in the stomach; Kesean Philon, 14, shot in the left leg; and Stephan Danzy, 17, shot in the left leg
One of the young men says the shooter was a black male with dread locks, holding a rifle, and wearing a red hat.
Events for people under 21 have been cancelled indefinitely.
Prior to the shooting, Waka got into another altercation Thursday (March 4), at an Atlanta clothing store. A fight emanated between himself and members of Young Jeezy's entourage, leaving Waka with a black eye.
